Trademark Fine Art 'Strange Stillness' Canvas Art by Carlos Casamayor, Size: 30 x 47

Description

This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. In 1991 he started his own advertising agency in Madrid and worked as Creative Manager until coming to America for the first time in 1999. Throughout his career, he had always been in contact with art: Illustrators, Photographers, Producers, Art Painters, Gallery owners, etc. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. Carlos built on his history with the arts when he began working as decorative faux finisher. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Advertising and Marketing in 1980, he started working in advertising agencies as Art Director and later as a Creative Director. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
