About this product
Description
This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a sunset at a beach in Florida. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. Ryan is partial to street scenes and landscapes, and recognizes that light and shadow play an important role in each painting. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Ryan is compelled to try to recreate it on paper. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a sunset at a beach in Florida. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. Ryan Radke has been painting watercolors for over 17 years. He fell in love with watercolor because of the subtle nuances that he feels cannot be achieved in any other medium. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. He is a very accomplished, award winning artist who enjoys teaching watercolor painting to adults and children. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions.
