Its cage and body use 6061-T6 aluminum and glass fiber and nylon composite to keep things light and the ability to fend off errant trail debris and the hardware consists of aluminum and Cr-Moly, again keeping the durable and light vibe going. Its clutch pack consists of disc springs, pressure plates, friction discs, and a one-way roller bearing to provide a great deal of force in a small package. And just like the other clutch systems, its purpose is to reduce derailleur cage movement and chain slap while also providing better tension and increased wrap for better chain management.
