Once the mould master is created Ekena Millwork uses high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. Ekena Millwork artisans then hand carve an original piece. That masterpiece is then used to create a mould master. Medallions are light weight for easy installation. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using Ekena Millwork high-density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. Once the mould master is created Ekena Millwork uses high-density urethane foam to form each medallion.
